They are only meant to be used as replacements for missing battery covers and should be installed by an adult or with adult supervision. This listing is for Plarail and Trackmaster replacement shells for Gordon. Gordon's shell from the original line of Plarail toys has begun to show its age, it turns brittle and yellows and eventually breaks. This replacement shell is to remedy this. These are designed and printed to be as close to the original parts as possible. These will not break down like the original casings did. They are printed using high quality PETG filament, these covers posses high durability, and are 100% recyclable, so they are environmentally friendly. 

This listing features a pick and choose for several options. First, you can choose the color of Gordon's shell. This listing by default uses a blue color that resembles his normal blue body, but by request, I will print this in any color you would like. Not only this, but custom stickers can be included for extra. Either normal replacement sticker sheets can be included, or by request, I can design custom replacements to match the color scheme of the Gordon you design. This will take time to make, so please know this will delay the item being shipped out. 

PLEASE NOTE: You must have the technical know-how in order to disassemble the train and swap the shells. This will require possibly breaking the current, brittle shell. Safety glasses are strongly recommended, but I am not responsible for any damage to you or your train. In particular, Gordon's boiler and face can be swapped from the original shell. This will require breaking off his boiler from the engine body. Afterwards, approximately 3.5mm worth of blue plastic must be chiseled out from the back of the boiler to the inside. This will allow for Gordon's boiler to simply be attached to this shell, making his boiler removable as well. Among other notes, this will not be sanded or finished, this is up to the buyer to choose if they would like to finish it, and to what color, if any. This will make the surface quality rough, so sanding is recommended, but can be used without. Finally, the battery terminals will have to be removed from the old tender. This will likely require breaking the plastic again. These can be placed into the new shells, but may require soldering.

*Return Options*
If you are not satisfied with the condition of the item, or purchased the wrong item, there is a 30 day period for returns or exchanges. You as the buyer are responsible for the return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition, all items will be examined upon return to verify if any new damage has appeared.

*Shipping & Delivery*
Shipping is primarily via Ground Advantage using the smallest reasonably sized box to contain all items in the order. If you place two separate orders in reasonable succession, these will be combined into one shipment unless prior arrangements are made. All items are wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure no damage during shipping. This is the cheapest shipping method possible, and I will be unable to bring the price down further than this. Orders over $35 USD and ordered in the continental United States will qualify for free shipping. International orders do not qualify in any situation for free shipping as the rates are much different from local, national rates. Shipping cost for international orders will be directly proportional to the amount of items in the order due to the increased shipping weight. Every item has a different weight, so the cost change may vary. Please see the shipping cost provided in the cart for an accurate estimate as I cannot provide shipping estimates. Any overage shipping cost paid by the buyer will be refunded back to the buyer in a reasonable amount of time.
